Trader - Stella 56 ("Stella 56") is the back office of a diamond wholesale business. It keeps stock, invoices and memos, payments, cash and bank, expenses and profit in one book: on your phone at a show, and on your computer at the office. Stella 56 Diamonds makes it.

## Who it's for

Diamond wholesalers and dealers who buy parcels of melee and certified stones from suppliers, sell them to jewellers and other traders on invoice or on memo, and get paid in parts, by cheque, wire and cash.

## What it does

- **Stock.** Every parcel by clarity and size, to the thousandth of a carat, and every certified stone with its lab certificate. See what's in the safe, what's out on memo, what's on hold and what it cost.
- **Invoices and memos.** Write one in under a minute. Returns, partial sales and memos that turn into sales are handled for you, and each document is a PDF you can share.
- **Payments.** Record cash, cheques, wires and Zelle, apply one payment across several invoices, and follow a cheque until it clears or bounces. Send a reminder on WhatsApp in a tap.
- **Clients and suppliers.** What each client owes and how late, with a statement to send; what you bought from each supplier and what went back.
- **Cash, bank, expenses and profit.** Count the cash, record deposits, track expenses, and read profit and loss by day and month.
- **Needs attention.** One list of what's overdue, what falls due this week, memos out too long, money still to apply and buyers' questions.
- **Showing stock.** Field mode turns your phone into a showcase for a buyer at your side, and share links let buyers browse your stock and ask about stones. Buyers never see your costs.

Carats are kept to 0.001 ct. Balances, stock per clarity and profit by day and month are kept up to date with every change, and every change to money or stock has its reversal: void, undo a bounced cheque, remove a discount, undo a supplier return.

## How it works

Stella 56 runs in the web browser and installs as an app on iPhone, Android and any computer, with a layout made for each. You sign in with Google or with an email address and password. Each sign-in is one business, and its records are private to it.

Getting started is free. Set up takes about two minutes, and you can bring your stock over as you go.

Built with Next.js, Convex and Clerk, and served from Cloudflare. Exports are CSV files; invoices, memos and statements are PDFs made in the browser. The app sends no messages itself: reminders open the trader's own WhatsApp, Messages or email.

## Your data

Your records are yours: export them any time, and we never sell them or use them for advertising. If you sign in with Google, Stella 56 receives only your name, email address and profile picture, to create your account and sign you in.
